Day 1 – Nairobi to Aberdares: Your journey will begin as you drive north through the lush Kikuyu farmlands and coffee plantations to the cool Kenyan highlands and coffee plantations to the cool Kenyan highlands arriving at the Aberdare rain forest with an abundance of rare species. Set in this lush forest is a countryside hotel, which is a stepping stone hotel for your lunch. Most of your luggage will be left here for the night, as you will be transferred to The lodge, which is designed with numerous viewing decks, balconies and lounges that allow you to watch animals visiting the waterhole and salt lick. Dinner and overnight of game viewing at the Tree hotel.
Day 2 – Aberdares to Samburu Game Reserve: Depart after breakfast and drive further north to the Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp where you are in on full board basis. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Samburu is famous for its rare animals normally viewed in the north of the equator. These are the gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, and grevys zebra. Additionally you will also get to enjoy the elephants, lions, cheetahs etc. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Tented Camp.
Day 3 – Full day In Samburu: Full day in the reserve with early and afternoon game drives respectively. All meals and overnight at your lodge or camp.
Day 4 – Samburu to Nanyuki: After breakfast, depart Samburu and drive south towards Nanyuki to the Sweetwaters Sanctuary. You will be able to sight one of Kenya’s greatest attractions – Mount Kenya. Arrive in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive within the sanctuary. This private game reserve is well known for its Rhino and Chimpanzee sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/Resort/Lodge .
Day 5 – Nanyuki To Nakuru - After breakfast, drive towards Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National park with a stop-ove at the Thompson falls, arriving Nakuru in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park that also takes you to the shore of the lake, famous for its millions of flamingoes that form a pink hue across the lake. The park is also a rhino sanctuary for black and white rhinos. You might even get a chance to spot some leopards. Dinner and overnight at a Hotel/Lodge/
Day 6 – Nakuru To Maasai Mara: Depart after breakfast and drive towards the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive at the lodge in Mara where you are booked in on full board basis. Check-in and have your lunch. Go for an afternoon game drive. Return to camp/Lodge, relax, dine and enjoy the atmosphere. Overnight.
Day 7 – Full day In Mara: You have a head start on your day for your early morning game drive. This is your chance to witness animals as they emerge from their resting places with the sunrise. You return to your camp for breakfast. Enjoy the morning at leisure. After lunch, go back for your afternoon game drive and catch the animals in a different light. The African backdrop will mesmerize you and take your breath away with its colorful sunset and vast rolling grasslands and serenity. Return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 8 – Full day In Mara: This day you may opt to do the various activities offered at the lodge/camp, eg visiting a maasai village, bush walks and tours or simply relax and enjoy the wilderness whilst swimming in the pool or simply have a massage.
Day 9 - Check-out after breakfast and begin your journey back to Nairobi. You will arrive in the afternoon drop off at your Nairobi Hotel. You may decide to have diner in a Nairobi Restaurant
Day 10 – Departure. Drop off at the airport for your international Flight after breakfast
